Site Location:  HillTop urban farm, pittsburgh, pa
This proposal is for an environmental learning center that encourages a farm-to-table process in a food desert neighborhood. The Hilltop Urban Farm project is set to become the largest urban farm in the United States and aims to serve as a resource for urban farming initiatives, provide agricultural education and entrepreneurial opportunities, while providing the community with locally-grown produce. The environmental learning center will act as a central hub that encompasses these goals and activities.
